The Truth About Chemical Peels

When people hear the term ‘chemical’, they might envision bio hazard symbols or green ooze in their minds, especially those of us who grew up with Batman and Nickelodeon cartoons. Axis Chemicals, anyone? However, there are ALL KINDS of chemicals. Many of them occur naturally in our bodies and the foods we eat. But, today we’re going to talk about the kind we put on your face.

So, what is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is simply a professional exfoliation treatment. And there are many different types to suit various skin needs. This guide is a great place to start if you’re considering a peel. However, your best bet is to schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our skincare specialists to determine your skin type and needs.

Now, let’s go over the types of chemical peels we offer here at Transformations.
